Creating a classroom contract with the class helps hold students accountable for their actions in the classroom. By creating the contract together, students are involved and understand the rules and expectations inside and outside of the classroom. Having students sign the contract and hanging it up in the classroom is a visual reminder to show students that they are responsible and expected to abide by these rules.
This visual behavior chart helps students to see their daily behavior in the classroom. This chart represents the class as a whole but focuses on the individual behavior of the student on that day. The chart will reset at the end of every day. Based on which level the students are at at the end of the day, consequences may occur.
At the end of the week, students can earn Fun Friday. Fun Friday will be rewarded to students who were "Ready to Rock" or higher on the Classroom Clip Chart for the majority of the week. If students did not complete their homework, missing assignments, or were not well-behaved during the week, they will not be allowed to participate in the entirety of Fun Friday.
